About

Jonathan

I began my career in the mortgage industry in 1999 and have had the privilege of helping more than 3,500 families along the way. I am licensed to serve buyers throughout North Carolina, with a primary focus on coastal mortgage lending opportunities for primary homes, second homes, and investment properties. I enjoy working with buyers to find the best solution for their ultimate goal of homeownership. With over 25 years of experience lending on all types of coastal properties, including condos and new construction, I bring extensive knowledge and expertise to the process. I am a member of the Carteret County Association of REALTORS® and the Carteret County Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, I serve as a board member for the Emerald Isle Scholarship Fishing Tournament, and I am an annual supporter of the Emerald Isle Saint Patrick’s Day Festival as well as a sponsor of the Carteret County Board of Realtors annual scholarship golf tournament. When I’m not working, I enjoy playing golf with my sons, Tucker (13) and Turner (12). I’m also an avid inshore fisherman. I am married to Tina Venters Wood.
